Tom Ivens designed a range of split-cane fly rods in conjunction with Davenport & Fordham Ltd, 63a High Street, Ware, Hertfordshire. These were:

• 'Farstrike' T C Ivens Original 10' to cast AFTM DT 6/7 line

• 'Farstrike' T C Ivens Lake 10' to cast AFTM DT 5/6 line

• 'Farstrike' T C Ivens Ravensthorpe 9' 4" to cast AFTM DT 5/6 line

• 'Farstrike' T C Ivens Superflyte 8' 8" to cast Superflyte AFTM 7/8 shooting head

• 'Farstrike' T C Ivens Reservoir 9' 4" to cast AFTM DT 5/6 line

All were two-piece, butt action rods.

The split-cane Superflyte 8' 8" was superceded in 1970 by a fibre-glass rod:

• 'Farstrike'  T C Ivens Ferrulite 9' 10" to cast Superflyte AFTM 7/8 shooting head

​

To complement the rods Davenport & Fordham marketed the Superflyte range of shooting heads:

• 33' Superflyte Floater shooting head AFTM 7, 8, 9 & 10

• 33' Superflyte Sinker shooting head AFTM 7, 8, 9 & 10
