Tom Ivens designed a range of split-cane fly rods in conjunction with Davenport & Fordham Ltd, 63a High Street, Ware, Hertfordshire. These were:

All were two-piece, butt action rods.

The split-cane Superflyte 8' 8" was superceded in 1970 by a fibre-glass rod:
