FLIES TIED BY DR BELL 4
Image of a Flyfisher's Club box of flies in the possession of David Hatwell containing flies tied by Dr Bell, probably, during the 1930s.
The box was compiled by Committee member Conrad Voss Bark in the 1990s to raise funds for the Flyfishers' Club in London and was sold at one of their regular Rummage Sales.
In the box there are many examples tied by some of the most influential tiers and fishermen of the twentieth century including T.C.Kingsmill Moore, G.E.M.Skues, Peter Deane, Eric Horsfall-Turner, Jack Heddon, Hugh Falkus and Ted Hughes.
