GAULBY REFORMED EVANGELICAL ANGLICAN FELLOWSHIP, LEICESTERSHIRE
Incorporating THE GAULBY FESTIVAL OF GRACE
SUNDAY EVENING SERVICES
Our Sunday Evening Services follow a 'traditional' format although we are not 'old-fashioned' in our approach to worshipping God. Each of our leaders and speakers conduct the Service as they are led.

As the 1662 Book of Common Prayer declares, Christians 'assemble and meet together to render thanks for the great benefits that we have received at his hands, to set forth his most worthy praise, to hear his most holy Word, and to ask those things which are requisite and necessary, as well for the body as the soul'.
At Gaulby we endeavour to adopt a reverent approach as we worship. We highly esteem the eternal value of God's revealed Word as the only rule of faith and practice.
We sing 'traditional' hymns by Watts, Wesley, Newton, Gadsby, Lyte and others, as well as some from early twentieth-century hymn-writers such as Timothy Dudley-Smith, Samuel John Stone and T. O. Chisholm.
Our singing is to organ accompaniment, recorded piano music and very occasionally unaccompanied. We do not employ contemporary innovations such as a 'music group', a 'worship leader' or other modern methods and we do not sing modern choruses. We use either Christian Hymns or Mission Praise hymn books.
Our Evening Services typically follow the outline below. To download a PDF of this document click the red button at the foot of this page.
