GAULBY REFORMED EVANGELICAL ANGLICAN FELLOWSHIP

The Gaulby Reformed Evangelical Anglican Fellowship is one of the Church of England fellowships in the county of Leicestershire where the doctrines of the English reformers are upheld, subscribes to the Thirty-Nine Articles of the Church of England and regularly uses the 1662 Book of Common Prayer in its evening services.

We preach God's Word as the only means of saving sinners and building up believers in their most Holy Faith (1 Corinthians 1:21). We sing 'traditional' hymns to piano or organ accompaniment.

Details of our regular meetings and speakers throughout the year are shown on the Calendar and Sermon Series pages. If for any reason you are unable to attend your local church on a Sunday evening, and you are in our area, you would be most welcome.

We hold weekly Bible studies where we study God’s Word and how it applies to us in the 21st Century. In recent times we have studied the events surrounding Noah, John's Gospel, the ministry of Elisha, the Acts of the Apostles and the events recorded in Esther. We are now studying 1 & 2 Thessalonians.

We conduct a weekly Prayer Fellowship and a Monthly Parish Prayer Meeting where we pray for our parish, our nation, the world and for individual situations.

GAULBY FESTIVAL OF GRACE

We hold the Gaulby Festival of Grace which is an annual event to proclaim and celebrate the Gospel of Grace as recorded in Holy Scripture, build up believers in their most holy Faith and inform Christians about the work of the church both in this country and in other parts the world. It has become one of the most significant events on the rural parish calendar in Leicestershire.

The Festival was initiated in 2000 by the late rector of the Gaulby Parish, Rev A F B Cheesman (rector from 1988 to 2010) and it has taken place every year since then.

To read a monograph concerning the Lord's Supper written by Rev Cheesman click the following link: The Lord's Supper.

The Festival has been a source of encouragement to believers, many of whom travel from far afield. We have been privileged to welcome prominent speakers from a variety of evangelical organizations such as Christian Concern, Christian Institute, Church Society, Creation Ministries International and Protestant Truth Society.

The day is concluded with an informal time of fellowship and buffet tea and we would love you to join us. It is always good to meet with other believers and share what God is doing in the lives of His people.

The Festival of Grace details appear on the Festival of Grace web page. There are no plans to hold any further festivals and the 2019 event was the last one to be held.

The website now contains a selection of sermons that have been preached at Gaulby so do take time to look at the Sermon Archive pages. We hope that you will find them encouraging and challenging.

The website will remain online for the forseeable future as a record of the ministry carried out at Gaulby.
